Landlord Information Guide

Request the latest Ray White Landlord Information Guide from our Marshland team if you are preparing a home for rent, reviewing an existing tenancy or deciding whether professional management would help. It is a useful starting point for organising your questions before a property-specific discussion.

Ray White Marshland has a dedicated property management division. Shelley Scott, Senior Accredited Property Manager, is the relevant contact for rental owners. The office will send you the latest guide following your request; this is not an instant download.

Prepare for a useful landlord conversation

Have the property address, current occupancy and your main priorities ready. A vacant home, a property you manage yourself and an existing managed tenancy each need a different starting conversation. Explain any planned repairs, upcoming tenancy changes or records you still need to gather.

  • Getting the home ready: record its condition, heating, appliances, parking, access and maintenance needs. Gather available inspection, insurance and compliance documents.
  • Running the tenancy: identify the help you need with tenant selection, communication, inspections, repairs and record keeping.
  • Choosing management: compare the written service scope, fees, repair authority and reporting arrangements before appointing a manager.

Our landlord and property management overview explains the next discussion. For current tenancy requirements, use Tenancy Services; a guide or management conversation does not replace advice about your individual obligations.
